Martin’s Farm, it is on the Off Sarjapura Road, Bangalore. Good place to connect with the nature. The farm got lot of farm /pet animal’s .My son is going for a school day trip next week :) . Check out Martin’s Farm and his official web site.

One interesting thing I come to know is they are conducting bird walks every Sunday at the rejuvenated Kaikondrahalli lake on Sarjapur road.

One of my friends is a professional bird watcher. When I asked him how he got into this, he said he got the passion when he attended the Bird watching camp during his school days . Coincidentally now I’m reading the autobiography of Salim Ali “The Fall of a Sparrow “. The heading of this book is taken for the famous bible Quote

How to get there from Bangalore

Yelagiri is around 150Km from Bangalore.Drive towards Hosur on the NH7 . At Krishnagiri take the Chennai road NH46 drive up to Vaniyambadi . Next to Vaniyambadi toll gate (after 2 KM) you will see the signboard 36 KM to Yelagiri.It is a underpass road take you to Tirupathur. 5 KM from there the hill road starts !!

Make sure you start early to reach @ 10 AM , so you can enjoy the boating for 2- 3 hr . We took the pedal boat and I do not want to tell outside it really tested my stamina to pedal the boat J .

National Park

This 10 acre campus is having a artificial falls , aquarium , Musical fountain ( 2 show @ 7 and 8 PM )and a big landscaping for the kids to run around .This park is really nice and maintained very well . Good place to relax and have food with family.

Yelagiri Paragliding

Woke up with a double mind whether to go to office are not .The long waited Ayodhya Verdict will be pronounced today

Later decided to work from home!! Working from home is like a 20/20 game .You always need to take the bowlers role .And bowlers always get raped by the bats man in 20/20 L.

When you are busy with some work, kid start to cry .You will be thinking what to do now …. either to continue with the work are to take care of the kid .Before you come to a conclusion some one in the family will finish the job what you are thinking to do .

But the strange look and thought always will be there on you “Why this man is living like a stranger in this house …!!

Around 1.30PM most of the company declared holiday for half day (including mine) .I expected this, but life is always full of surprise the following Saturday is declared as working day L !!

The verdict will be at 3 PM – 4 PM .Granny and the old people in India will be happy in one way .Because late evening they can watch their mega serials without any disturbance from the educated members in the family. Other wise the ( so called )educated people will occupy the front seat before the TV and comments will fly in air He is right … that is wrong … why so much year for the verdict etc… all nonsense will happen .

Around 4 PM , all our family members gathered in front of TV set to watch the verdict. The unusual combination is 4 generation of people are there!! Who had born before 1950, after 1950, after 1980 & after 2000!! All the news channels anchors are very much excited than anyone else in the country. It’s like the enter country is waiting out side the labour room for a result.

Those who are responsible for the 1992 incident are now talking about peace national integrity. I remember the quote

“When a fox preaches, take care of your geese “.

Turned on my laptop to get some news for the Net . On the Twitter Ayodhya is the top most discussed topic .All the techies jumped in and giving their view which will worth not even a single penny LHere goes few of their messages

One guy says – Do not give the land to any one, instead we can build a food court where every one can eat.

Another Guy – Who every win, give the building contract to CWG organization.

Another Guy – What nonsense is going on here !! Did the wine shop opens today ?

We cannot expect more for these techies.

Around 4.15 PM, few lawyers came out with a victory signal .All the media person jumped in .The kill become the prey now !! Then every one started to talk .So now it’s clear that no one is going to understand what they are talking.

Few hours later …

The verdict pronounces as land need to be divided into 3 parts!!The Question before the court is to whom this land belongs to?Can we take this as this belongs to 3 people??

As many historians /political analyst say this verdict has gone by faith but not by fact.Verdict runs to 8000 pages, still more will come out in coming days .As some one said this is only the semi finial .The finials will be in Supreme Court.

Finish reading this book .Those who wants to know the brief history of World War II should not miss to read this book. It is difficult to write the history of WW II in 325 pages, but Marudhan did a wonderful job.

The journey towards the past is full of surprise and disaster .Around 70 million people died during 1939-1945 in this war!! After the WW II many countries map got changed few added few lost its territory.

If you ask why this WAR at the cost of 70 million peoples life .It is all for business!!

World History is different from what we read in school books!! So do not miss to read the history

Remembering Mother Teresa on her 100th Birth Day !!

Mother Teresa 100th birth day was celebrated on 26th Aug 2010 .Even after her death Missionaries of Charity work is going on in more than 125 country’s .Amazing work!!

But it was sad that the Indian media especially the national private English news channels on her 100th birth day showed her work & life in a negative tone!! What a shame for us!!

Here is one of her life example

Before the US war on Iraqi in January 1991, she wrote a letter to US President George Bush & Iraqi President Saddam Hussein

“Please choose the way of peace. … In the short term there may be winners and losers in this war that we all dread. But that never can, nor never will justify the suffering, pain and loss of life your weapons will cause.

Many good examples can be quoted from Mother Teresa life, then why the media is showing the darker side.

All we can say to the media is, as Jesus said

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."

rambling THOUGHTS in a DAY!!

My mobile alarm wake me up @ 5.40 AM , as usual my body refuse to wake up .I have to rush to catch my morning train @6.50 AM ,need to travel around 170 Km away from where I stand now !!

Out side home weather is around 20 °C , the road is wet ,might be raining the whole night .Saw one bus is approaching the bus stop started to run but missed the target .I was thinking did I ran slowly ??Yes, my fitness level is not low but very low now.

Got a cab and jumped in .I need to tell about the Cab pickup in Bangalore .This are all Call centre pick up/drop cabs .When they are off they will give you a lift .You need to pay little more than the bus fair .They are the unofficial carriers for early and late commuters like me in the city !!

Reached railway station 10 min early, walked straight to the news paper shop, asked for HINDU News paper .Shop keeper checked and replied back HINDU got over!! so my next choice is DNA news paper and bought one more Tamil news paper .By reading the headline walked towards the Coffee shop I should not call this as a coffee shop as they do not sell coffee there, only milk .A cup of hot milk is 7 Rs. Combination of News Paper, Hot milk & the weather, it is perfect. I was thinking to my self what a wonderful World!!

Train arrived on Time, people was rushing and pushing to get into the train as usual. Darvin theory Survival of the fittest once again got proved!! Who got more power and strength can get into the train first .I always think if I miss the train life is not going to end, so why to rush .A woman around 50+ already occupy my reserved seat ,normally I used to expect this .I politely inform her this is my seat .Her face showed me she got confused now, she checked her ticket once again and left the place .By this time the train crossed 2 KM!!

Another 2.5 hr to go , this train use to cross 3 states .Karnataka , Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu

I opened the new paper .The guy who was sitting next to me was trying to read the news what I’m reading .I do not like this, it's like someone putting their hands on you pocket.So gave the additional column 3 page extra news sheets to him let him get lost.Why can’t people buy a news paper it’s only 2Rs!!

Already crossed two railway stations I’m in Jolarpet , it’s 9 Am .Train is running late for 30 min .I felt something is wrong out side .Asked the Coffee boy Any thing is wrong ??!! he said one goods train got derailed on the next stop , it will take another hour to clear the route .With in a hour nothing is going to happen .I made a small calculation and got out from the train .Asked some one the way to bus stand and started to walk .

Few people are standing on the road side but still I’m not finding any sign of busstop!! I asked a guy where is the bus stop ? He gave a strange look and replied this is the bus stop .I want to reconfirm may be my software mind is working now. Turned around next to me a dark man is standing, he may be around 25yr old .I changed the question now Will the Ambur bus stops here . Without opening his mouth he replied YES. After 5 min bus arrived I do not remember the color of the bus may be with red and blue but it’s a government bus . Once again Darvin theory got proved!! , every one jumped in .I got in and looks around for a seat nothing left. Kept my laptop and jerkin on the luggage self and found a comfortable place for standing .The bus conductor is shouting from the back side who ever got into the bus in the previous stop take the ticket first .I was thinking did I fall on this category or not ! Some time when you have doubt you should not ask your doubt so decided to wait for some time.

Started to look around, identified the dark man he got a seat!! On looking me he turned his face to the other side . Did he feel guilty?? May be because he was standing back to me on the bus stop theoretically I should get that seat .Most of the times theory doesn’t work in life.

Bus conductor is nearing me, he is wearing blue color shirt. I asked him Ambur how much? Without seeing me he replied 9 Rs and started to do something on his ticket machine .I was not expecting this 9 RS!! I did a calculation and though the ticket will cost me around 20 -25 Rs. For 35 KM I need to pay only 9 Rs .Still government make a profit from public bus transport!! I look around once again, all are ordinary people, their dress, their look ….every thing is very simple .Rs 9 is coming to my mind again . Is that I messed up the life and spending more in life?? Someone’s quote crossed my mind

“We can make a complicated thing in to simple .But you cannot make a simple thing into simple “

Conductor was shouting again “all the by pass get down “ few seat become empty I the got seat .Took my book to read :).Its a short story about a Tiger & a Snail .The story goes like this …

This tiger know to write!, got caught in the forest and some one put it inside a cage along with other animals .All the animals are siting simply on their cage except this tiger .Day and night this tiger is roaming around the cage .

A small snail was watching this and asked to the tiger why you are roaming day and night? Tiger replied I’m not roaming but I’m writing Zero .This will remember me every day , every hour and every minute if I stay in this cage then my life also become Zero !! I want to get out of this cage as soon as possible .So to remember to myself I’m roaming all the time.

Something stuck me, I put myself on the Tiger Place .Slowly inside me I thought I too should not stuck on one place in life .Life is to explore!!

Reached Ambur bus stand and walked towards the hotel for morning break fast it’s around 10.10 AM . Inside the hotel the air is filled with ilayaraja music. My thought goes …Maestro music will get played some where in the world 24 X 7 all around the year. Ordered for idly and vadai .Normally while travelling I (most of the people) prefer idly, easy to digest. An old man served me the food, may be he was around 60+ I was thinking why this man need to work at this age? .Finished the break fast and came out and bought some magazine in the near by shop.

Took an auto, the place I need to travel now is closely packed with shop. Only one auto can go into this street. Crossed some meat shop animal are hanging upside down .I remembered the article which I read today morning , that the Karnataka government has proposed a law to safeguard COW!! If the law get passed then I believe no one can kill the cow in Karnataka!! Based on this a Bishop gave an interview in the news paper Food habit is associated with culture, every one got there rights to eat what they want .God has created every thing for man ….

I was thinking there are lots of issue to solve. Why only worrying about Cow, what about other animals??? .

On the way noticed the tailors are also busy than usual, may be because of Ramzan. On the street one more thing fall on my eyes, a pot was kept for collecting water, water got filled and running out from the pot and few people standing near by and watching that .They look very blank .I was thinking why they are wasting water!! Water is selling 12 Rs for a litre.

Stated my Work as usual from 10.30AM and finished at 5PM

Already booked my return ticket @ 6.30PM .Because of morning incident as chain reaction all the trains are running late today. My train is late by 2 hr .So decided to catch any train which stops in Bangalore .Noticed the announcement , due to delay some train is stoping in Ambur ( Normally this train do not stope at Ambur station I believe ).

Board the train @ 7 PM unreserved compartment, you can see different kinds of people here. Saw a place, its to keep the luggage .Without a second thought climbed like a monkey and jumped into that place .Once again Darvin theory got proved . Its kind of upper berth and the place is like a pigeon cage .Once I settled on that place I noticed the Fan is below me :( .Who cares reaching home on time is important .Open the magazine which I bought in the morning and started to read .Surprising there is a special article about Tamil culture, its about how people are still following the tradition etc … and keeping it alive .You guess is correct, I happy by reading this article :)and thought to keep the paper cutting safely.

Reached Bangalore @ 9.30 PM it’s.

Took the AC volvo bus to reach home from Railway station, for around 12 Km he is charging 25 Rs !! See the difference morning paid 9 Rs for 35 Km .Checked the ticket print out on the KM space it’s printing blank!! May be a software bug!!.Only 7 people are there on the bus .And one of the guy is reading Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats .Once I started to read this book and dropped in-between it’s about management stuff. I got this habit if I see some one having a book then I use to make a note on that.

Going to signing off for the day, how many rambling thought in a day!!

I mostly like to read Non Fiction books .I'm more interested to know about HISTORY & PEOPLE.
Now I'm also reading Novels / Short stories it reflect the human emotions in a beautiful way !! .So added many book to my read list .

One of such book I'm reading now is the S Ramakrishna's பதினெட்டாம் நூற்றாண்டின் மழை (Eighteenth Century Rain) .This is the first time I reading S Ramakrishnan book amazing !! narration of story and his Tamil language is beautiful .The way he brings and show the poor peoples life in his story is excellent .

A drive will be good .Good bus service is also available including the Red Volvo A/C bus. It will take around one and a half Hr to reach there ...

I always carry a book with me .So I can use my time in reading during travelling .Now a days I started to download interesting too long article from the net and keep a softcopy in my laptop .During long travel hours I used to read this article.

C. Medicine Box

Carry a small medicine box with common medicine for cold, fever, headache etc .This help a lot in emergency.

D. Capture interesting things while you are on the move

If you come across interesting things do not forget to take a snap .You can share this with your Family / Friends.

E. Eat Healthy

Carry water with you & eat healthy food .Do not skip you food at any cost.

F. Sleep well

Plan you travel in such a way that you get enough sleep, so that you can work freshly the following day.

‘This is the second time I have written to you, and I don’t blame you for not answering me, because I sounded crazy, but it is a fact that we have a tradition in our family of Ice-Cream for dessert after dinner each night, but the kind of ice cream varies so, every night, after we’ve eaten, the whole family votes on which kind of ice cream we should have and I drive down to the store to get it. It’s also a fact that I recently purchased a new Pontiac and since then my trips to the store have created a problem.

You see, every time I buy a vanilla ice cream, when I start back from the store my car won’t start. If I get any other kind of ice cream, the car starts just fine. I want you to know I’m serious about this question, no matter how silly it sounds “What is there about a Pontiac that makes it not start when I get vanilla ice cream, and easy to start whenever I get any other kind?” The Pontiac President was understandably skeptical about the letter, but sent an Engineer to check it out anyway.
The latter was surprised to be greeted by a successful, obviously well educated man in a fine neighborhood. He had arranged to meet the man just after dinner time, so the two hopped into the car and drove to the ice cream store. It was vanilla ice cream that night and, sure enough, after they came back to the car, it wouldn’t start.
The Engineer returned for three more nights. The first night, they got chocolate. The car started. The second night, he got strawberry. The car started. The third night he ordered vanilla. The car failed to start.
Now the engineer, being a logical man, refused to believe that this man’s car was allergic to vanilla ice cream. He arranged, therefore, to continue his visits for as long as it took to solve the problem. And toward this end he began to take notes: He jotted down all sorts of data: time of day, type of gas uses, time to drive back and forth etc
In a short time, he had a clue: the man took less time to buy vanilla than any other flavor. Why? The answer was in the layout of the store. Vanilla, being the most popular flavor, was in a separate case at the front of the store for quick pickup. All the other flavors were kept in the back of the store at a different counter where it took considerably longer to check out the flavor.
Now, the question for the Engineer was why the car wouldn’t start when it took less time. Eureka – Time was now the problem – not the vanilla ice cream!!!! The engineer quickly came up with the answer: “vapor lock”.
It was happening every night; but the extra time taken to get the other flavors allowed the engine to cool down sufficiently to start. When the man got vanilla, the engine was still too hot for the vapor lock to dissipate.
Even crazy looking problems are sometimes real and all problems seem to be simple only when we find the solution, with cool thinking.

Most of the leather shoes are manufactured from COW leather .Cow skin is the by-product of meat industry .

First the leather look like this called Wet blue .

Leather Production Process

Leather get color in tanning process. Wet blue + chemicals get processed into to the drum and run for 8 – 12 hr .During this process leather get process change with color called finished leather.

Finish leather cut into parts , stitched , this is the upper part of the Shoes .Some manufacturing unit have only machine setup to do upper part of the shoes .And some exporter even export upper part of the shoes where the lower part get attached in different part of the world !!

Upper shoes + soles get pasted together and we get the full shoes !!
